Transit

This series of cyanotypes emerges from an experiment with silhouette profiling, a technique that outlines my shape and turns it into a threshold between landscapes.
My profile becomes a thread connecting territories, seasons, and migrations.

The full moon, seen from both the southern and northern hemispheres, reveals the shift in perspective that runs through the entire work. It is the same moon, yet observed from different lands and different times—a metaphor for what changes and what endures.

Through this visual play, I search for who I am in those other landscapes.
The blue shadows and cut-out contours speak of longing, and of the possibility of continuing to inhabit, even from afar.
