Emotional Law of Gravitation

Newton’s law of gravitation describes attraction as a function of mass and distance. In this series, I use the immediacy of instant photography as a field of experimentation, transferring Newtonian logic to a long-distance relationship: distance does not cancel connection, it shapes it.

From time zones, pauses, and moments of solitude and waiting emerge photographs that do not narrate a relationship, but rather make its forces visible. The images trace approaches, shifts, ruptures, and fragments; not an event, but a field.

Distance appears as measure and boundary, and at the same time as the sensitive condition of that which binds us together.
